Kim Kardashian has filed for bifurcation from her husband Kayne West in an attempt to become legally single during the ex-couple's divorce proceedings. West has responded with opposition to the reality stars' request. And somehow comedian Pete Davidson finds himself thrust in between the former power couple.
"Irreconcilable differences", the reasoning behind Kim Kardashian's filing for divorce from the rapper worth 1.8 billion dollars on Feb. 19th, 2021. "Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress," Kardashian said, in response to West's social media tirades. Kim stated "(she) has no desire to reconcile" with the Chicago rapper.
Kayne has made it known his feeling on the split. Going as far as singing "Run back to me Kimberly," at a concert in December of 2021. West insisted his ex is attempting to keep their children from him. Ye took to Instagram to voice his displeasure. The rapper believed he was ghosted by family and friends keeping him from his daughter, Chicago's fourth birthday party. "Why nobody gonna give me the address to my daughter's birthday party, right now."

Kayne settled rumors that he purchased a house across the street from Kim's place. "My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule […] That's why I even got the house." The father of four said. Kardashian spoke with an insider and said she isn't "necessarily thrilled" with Kayne's decision to post up a stone's throw away from his former residence.
Kardashian requested joint legal and physical custody in her divorce papers.
Since the split, Kim started a relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, 28. An insider said "She is happy right now and is having a lot of fun. She likes where she is at in life and is loving this new chapter." The Stronger rapper is not as thrilled with his wife's new partner. Calling the comedian, a "dickhead," and claiming "(Pete) WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN."

Skete, (as referred to by Kayne) has kept relatively quiet in response to Kayne's taunts. However, the 28-year-old posted a clip to his IG account a scene from The King of Comedy in which Robert De Niro's character says, "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime." Davidson then deleted his account the next day. The 44-year-old rapper responded on IG with "Ran Skete off the gram" and "Tell your mother I changed your name for life."
What's next for the love triangle? Kayne released a single entitled Eazy during his Donda 2 tour. Further driving his perception on the unlikely couple of Kim and Pete. Davidson continues to appear on SNL and is currently working on a couple of movie projects. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star continues to expand her underwear brand Skims. Kim has continued to defend her and Pete's side of the story stating, "Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all."
